According to recent public records, local brewery Barking Armadillo will soon begin preparing its second location. The establishment will be found at 2080 Westinghouse Road in Georgetown.

“It’ll be our second location,” co-owner Jacob Trimm tells What Now Austin. “It’ll be a shared taproom rather than a full-on brewery; B Street Pizza will be in charge of the food.”

And what will the offerings on tap look like in the new taproom?

“We’ll have the same selection of Barking Armadillo beers but we’ll also have guest beers from local brands,” says Mr. Trimm, underscoring that the Barking Armadillo believes in providing “neighborhood vibes” and championing everything local.

So, when will the taproom open?

“In the early fall,” Mr. Trimm states.
