Chick-Fil-A, the chicken-centered fast-casual chain, will soon be building out an Austin location at the corner of Parmer & Dessau, according to recent public records.

The records in question state that the 2,558 square foot project will consist of a “Ground up construction of quick service restaurant with drive-thru and stand-alone canopies.” Construction is anticipated to begin in April 2025 and end in mid-November of next year.

Founded in Hapeville, Georgie by Truett Cathy in 1946, Chick-Fil-A has since become one of the most notable and ubiquitous fast casual restaurants in the United States. Chick-fil-A is especially known for its chicken sandwiches, chicken tenders, hospitable staff, and being consistently, unequivocally closed on Sundays.

Until the Austin Chick-Fil-A opens, eager readers can find the brand all over central Texas.
