According to public filings, Tecovas plans to open at 155 Century Court, Suite 109, within Century Square, with construction completion date targeted for mid-October 2026. The location will open next to Grass Stains and will mark Tecovas’ debut in the Brazos Valley.

What Now Austin reached out to Tecovas representatives but did not get an answer prior to publication.

Founded in Austin in 2015 by Paul Hedrick, Tecovas specializes in handcrafted cowboy boots made in León, Mexico, through a process involving more than 200 steps. The brand has since expanded into apparel, workwear, leather goods, and accessories for men and women, growing from a digitally native startup into one of the country’s leading western lifestyle brands with more than 60 locations nationwide, according to the brand’s website.

The in-store experience goes beyond retail. Tecovas locations offer complimentary boot shining, stretching, and custom leather stamping with monograms or personal messages, along with exclusive in-store merchandise not available online. Each pair of boots is handcrafted using time-honored techniques passed down through generations, and the brand’s growing lineup now spans everything from classic cowboy boots to work boots, denim, hats, and leather accessories.

Century Square is one of College Station’s premier mixed-use destinations, anchored by a diverse mix of dining, retail, and entertainment concepts that serve both the local community and Texas A&M University’s student population — a natural fit for a brand with deep Texas roots and a loyal following across the state.
