Bacci’s restaurant near Boston has announced that it is closing this weekend. The owners say the state of the economy is the reason for the closure. The closure will end the restaurant’s 19-year run in Stoneham.

Bacci’s of Stoneham Announces Closure After 19 Years in Business

Stoneham is soon to bid farewell to a neighborhood favorite with the upcoming closure of Bacci’s. The restaurant’s final day of service will be July 11. In its announcement, the restaurant thanked customers for their support over the years.

The restaurant is known for its casual dining room, full bar, and Italian-American menu. Menu favorites include Seafood Fra Diavolo, Gnocchi Bolognese, Gilly’s Famous Ravioli, and Chicken Parmigiano.

Bacci’s cited the state of the economy as the reason for the closure on its website. The restaurant did not provide further details regarding the closure. It continued to thank all the loyal patrons who have supported the restaurant in these 19 years.

According to its website, Bacci’s mission is to ensure every customer enjoys their dining experience. They strive to deliver delicious food accompanied by great service.

The closure announcement reads, “Due to the state of the economy, we regret to inform you that we will be CLOSING our doors on July 11, 2026! We’d like to THANK ALL our wonderful and loyal patrons for supporting us over the years!!! Sincerely, Bacci’s Mgmt and Staff”

The restaurant did not elaborate beyond citing the state of the economy in its closure announcement.

According to MassLive, the restaurant opened in 2007 and has operated under its current ownership since 2014.

Bacci’s will bring an end to its years of serving the Stoneham community with its closure. Customers have this one last opportunity to enjoy their Italian-American favorites.
