A globally recognized name in denim is headed to Burlington.
Levi’s is set to open a new storefront on the lower level of the Burlington Mall, across from Lululemon at 75 Middlesex Turnpike, Suite 1084A, according to the mall and Levi’s websites. While the mall currently lists a mid-December opening, a Levi’s company representative told What Now Boston that the store is actually on track to debut in mid-November 2026.
Although the representative declined to share further details at this time, a building permit filed for the space reveals that the new location will span approximately 3,489 square feet and is undergoing a full interior remodel. The project is estimated at $75,000.
Founded in San Francisco in 1853 by Bavarian immigrant Levi Strauss, Levi Strauss & Co. began as a dry goods business during the California Gold Rush. Strauss would eventually partner with tailor Jacob Davis, who had developed a way to reinforce work pants with copper rivets. Together, the two patented the design in 1873, laying the foundation for what would become the world’s most recognizable pair of pants: blue jeans.
Over the decades, Levi’s expanded beyond its workwear roots and eventually became a defining name in American fashion. The brand’s signature denim has become synonymous with classic, casual style, and its stores now carry a broader assortment of denim, apparel, footwear, and accessories for men, women, and kids.
Today, Levi Strauss & Co. operates hundreds of stores around the world, with its brands and products available in more than 110 countries. In addition to Levi’s, the company’s portfolio includes Dockers, Signature by Levi Strauss & Co., and Beyond Yoga.
When it debuts, the Burlington Mall Levi’s store will join a growing roster of recently opened tenants as the shopping center continues its broader fashion, dining, and entertainment revitalization. Newer additions include Mavi Jeans, Gorjana, Rocco’s Tacos & Tequila Bar, Bissinger’s Handcrafted Chocolatier, Game Show Battle Rooms, and Vuori.
