Jeff’s Bagel Run, a Florida-based shop known for its handcrafted hot bagels, is getting ready to expand significantly throughout Charleston.

Last year, it was announced that the company had awarded 19 new franchise locations across Georgia, North Carolina, and South Carolina, according to QSR Magazine. Franchise owner Matt Immerfall tells What Now Charleston that he has signed a franchise agreement to open 26 locations from Asheville, NC, to Savannah, GA. The first Charleston area location is expected to open in the Point Hope Commons at the beginning of April.

After this, Immerfall tells What Now Charleston that he hopes to open four additional locations between May and June. He tells the publication that he will open a new Jeff’s Bagel Run in Isle of Palms, across from the Harris Teeter; Hunt Club located off Bees Ferry Road; in Mount Pleasant at the Indigo Square; and James Island on Folly Road. These locations will be the first time Jeff’s Bagel Run expands into South Carolina. Immerfall and his business partner recently moved to South Carolina from Orlando, where they fell in love with the brand. Now, they are excited to be a part of the Charleston community and bring this delicious bagel brand to the state for the first time.

“Getting the opportunity to open these stores outside our home market of Central Florida is very exciting,” Jeff’s Bagel Run’s president Justin Wetherill said in a press release last year. “Growing into these markets with proven operators is the perfect recipe for replicating the success we have seen here on our home turf.” Just about everything that makes the Jeff’s Bagel Run experience special happens within the four walls of the store so ensuring that we remain a people first business is critical in driving the guest centric experience our guests have come to expect.”
