Summerville is gearing up to welcome a delightful new addition to its dining scene. Boba Fusion will soon open at 1580 Old Trolley Rd.

A family-owned venture, husband-and-wife team Thera and Jesse Forsythe, along with their 2-year-old daughter, Xoey, will offer approximately 100 flavors of boba tea to the local community.

“We have talked about opening a boba shop for several years now. We finally decided to do it,” the Forsythes shared with What Now Charleston.

In addition to their signature boba teas, which feature chewy tapioca and a variety of popping pearls, Boba Fusion will serve a diverse menu including milk teas, herbal teas, smoothies, frappuccinos, and flavored lemonades.

Guests can also enjoy “munchies” like pastries and bubble waffles. A rewards program and fun merchandise will further enhance the customer experience.

Originally slated for an April opening, the launch has been slightly delayed due to unforeseen challenges. With the recent installation of Boba Fusion’s signage, the Forsythes hope to welcome guests to the Summerville shop by mid-July 2024.
