A local taco truck that can frequently be found parked outside a North Charleston Petco will soon open its first brick-and-mortar restaurant.

Poseidon’s Playground is in the process of securing kitchen approval at 9616 US-78, Suite 13 in Ladson. Owner Jonathan Castro told What Now Charleston that the new eatery is set to open in about two months.

The restaurant’s menu will feature the same beloved items from the truck, along with new tacos and combos. Diners can look forward to fan favorites such as the birria tacos, street corn, quesadillas, burritos, birria pizzas, and egg rolls, plus some exciting new additions.
