Poke Bros is bringing its healthy, Hawaiin-inspired bowls to the up-and-coming Nexton community near downtown Summerville, according to the Nexton website. With twelve successful locations already in South Carolina, this fast-casual eatery is making waves.
Founded in 2016 by Scott McCarthy, Anthony Wellman, and Xue Gong Chen, Poke Bros was born after the trio first encountered poke during a trip to California. Inspired by their love for the Hawaiian dish, they decided to introduce it to a broader audience. Today, the brand has grown exponentially, boasting 79 stores and counting.
At Poke Bros, patrons can choose from a variety of signature bowls or craft their own masterpiece, selecting a base, protein, vegetables, sauce, and toppings, such as toasted coconut or wonton chips. Sides, kids’ bowls, and a range of mochi ice cream flavors are also available.
