Starbucks continues its expansion throughout South Carolina with a new location in Conway at the intersection of Singleton Ridge Road and Highway 544, according to a report by The Sun News. This will mark the second Conway store for the corporate-owned coffee chain. The new location will also feature a drive-through.
Project contractors told The Sun News that the interior is still a work in progress and could take up to two months to complete construction. An opening date has not yet been announced.
Earlier this month, the coffee conglomerate revealed its New Year’s lineup, including a pistachio latte and cold brew, and a hazelnut oat milk shaken espresso.
At the end of last year, Starbucks revealed that it intends to add 17,000 new stores worldwide by 2030, which would bring its international total to 55,000. The company currently has around 38,000 open locations globally.
