A few weeks ago, it was reported that a new restaurant was being constructed near Downtown Myrtle Beach, though details were scarce at the time. Now, more information has been released.

According to The Sun News, Toasty will soon open a second location on N Kings Hwy, just a few minutes from its flagship site.

The breakfast, brunch, and lunch eatery will serve classic dishes like omelets, pancakes, and French toast, along with tapas, sandwiches, soups, and salads. Additionally, Toasty will feature a bakery and provide seating for roughly 300 guests.

Owner and local restaurateur Sam Lauren—who also owns the SOHO brand of steak and seafood restaurants, Eagles Beachwear, Clearwater Oyster Bar & Grill, and a new strip mall currently under construction in Carolina Forest—told The Sun News that the new restaurant is expected to cost around $5-6 million.

Located directly across the street from Fiesta Mexicana at 410 70th Ave North, the upcoming restaurant will be situated near a small body of water and will feature two decks connected by a bridge.

Lauren said that the new Toasty will probably open within the next couple of months, though he did not provide a specific date.
