Cook Out is expanding its North Carolina footprint with the acquisition of multiple adjacent properties in Thomasville at 1114, 1116, and 1118 Lambeth Street and 1704 and 1708 Liberty Drive, according to the Triad Business Journal.
Separately, the company’s website points to a new Charlotte location at 10820 Woodland Beaver Road, signaling continued expansion in the Charlotte market.
An opening timeline for the Charlotte location has not been announced. WhatNow Charlotte reached out to CEO Jeremy Reaves to confirm additional details, but did not receive a response at the time of publication.
The Thomasville deal covers five adjacent properties acquired for about $1.07 million, creating a larger combined site for potential future development, the Triad Business Journal reports. The purchase is part of a broader pattern of investment in the Triad, with the company spending more than $10 million on real estate since early 2023.
Founded in North Carolina, Cook Out operates a drive-thru-focused concept centered on burgers, barbecue, hot dogs, and chicken, along with a wide selection of milkshakes, according to the company’s website. The brand has steadily expanded across the Southeast through new restaurant openings.
While details for the Charlotte site remain limited, the listing on the company’s website, alongside continued real estate activity in North Carolina, offers an early indication of where the brand may expand next.
