Domino’s Pizza is headed to a new retail development at the intersection of N.C. 42 and Tuscan Ridge Way, just outside the Flowers Plantation community with a Clayton address. According to the Triangle Business Journal, the pizza chain has signed on as one of the first tenants at Tuscan Ridge Commons, a new 13,664-square-foot strip center currently under development.
Franchise owner Gerald Rhodes will operate the upcoming Domino’s Pizza location.
The development is being led by Chase Riker through Tuscan Ridge Commons LLC. The Triangle Business Journal reports that the company purchased the vacant site in March 2025 for $1 million, with the retail center expected to be delivered in the fourth quarter of 2026.
Domino’s Pizza will occupy one of nine retail spaces planned for the project. Other announced tenants include Burrito Shak, Hotworx and Club Pilates, according to leasing information cited by the Triangle Business Journal.
The project adds to the growing wave of commercial development in eastern Johnston County, an area that has continued to attract new retailers as residential growth expands around Flowers Plantation.
