Charlotte is welcoming its third maman location. The bakery and cafe will serve the brand’s popular offerings at Eastover. The new opening will be celebrated with a ribbon-cutting and freebies.

maman is opening its third Charlotte location on July 29. The new cafe is located in Eastover inside a historic building dating back to the 1920s. The cafe will serve maman’s salads, sandwiches, pastries, and signature Nutty Chocolate Chip Cookies.
Founded in New York City, maman has expanded to 60 locations across the U.S. and Canada. The brand is known for its French-inspired menu, seasonal baked goods, and interiors influenced by the South of France.
Co-founder Elisa Marshall says the new cafe builds on the brand’s growing presence in Charlotte. She added that the team looks forward to becoming part of the Eastover community.
The new location will be celebrated with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 8 a.m. The first 100 guests in line will receive a complimentary tote bag and classic chocolate chip cookie with purchase. Starting at 1 p.m., the first 50 guests who spend $15 or more at the store will get a free croissant charm. It will be a product from Carolina Charm, who will be onsite for the afternoon.
Inside the New Cafe
The new maman location blends the building’s original character with French-inspired decor. The space features locally sourced antiques, handmade lighting, and textured walls.
The cafe will feature a custom mural by local artist Amber Thompson. It will also feature floral installations inspired by North Carolina’s magnolia and jasmine.
The Eastover location includes custom espresso machines, signature blue-and-white tiles, and a dedicated children’s play area with Lalo toys. It will also offer North Carolina-exclusive items like the Peaches & Cream Danish and Mac & Cheese Croissant.
maman will offer weekend brunch, private event bookings, and more than 3,000 square feet of indoor space with seating for 54 guests. It will also offer a 1,200-square-foot outdoor patio with seating for 52 guests. The cafe will open daily from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. and 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekends.
maman continues to expand its presence in the city with its third Charlotte location.
