Iris Coffee Lab is preparing to expand with Madeleine, a new coffee shop and bakery planned for Raleigh.
According to a Raleigh Magazine’s Instagram post, Iris Coffee Lab owners Bryan and Reghan Haven are behind the new concept, named after Reghan’s childhood nickname, “Madeleine.” Raleigh Magazine’s Facebook post identified head baker Aliesha Genevieve as a partner in the venture. The company’s social media later shared that the bakery will be opening in Raleigh’s Smoky Hollow district, although a specific address and opening timeline have not yet been announced.
According to the Iris Coffee Lab website, Madeleine will build on the company’s specialty coffee program while introducing an expanded selection of artisan baked goods. The menu is expected to feature naturally fermented breads, pastries, and other house-made items crafted with high-quality ingredients and a seasonal approach.
Co-owner Bryan Haven told WhatNow Charlotte that they have a full kitchen menu coming too. “This is something new for us, and we’re so excited for it.”
Founded in 2020, Iris Coffee Lab has established itself as a destination for specialty coffee in Raleigh. According to the company’s website, the business focuses on thoughtfully sourced coffee, in-house roasting, and creating an approachable café experience for its guests.
As plans for Madeleine continue to take shape, the concept is expected to bring a fresh combination of specialty coffee and handcrafted baked goods to Raleigh’s growing culinary scene.
