Palm Berries is preparing for broader expansion across North Carolina following the upcoming openings of two new corporate-owned locations in Asheville and South Charlotte, co-founder and owner Chandler Gottlieb told WhatNow Charlotte during a recent interview.

The company is currently preparing to open a new Asheville location at 33 Town Square Blvd., Suite 130, with a second restaurant planned for 7808 Rea Rd., Suite E, in Charlotte. Gottlieb said the Asheville restaurant is expected to open May 30, while the Rea Road location is currently targeting a June 6 debut.

According to Gottlieb, the two openings could help set the stage for additional growth throughout North Carolina, with areas including Plaza Midwood, Harrisburg, Greensboro, Winston-Salem, Raleigh, Durham, and Chapel Hill among the markets mentioned as potential future opportunities.

Gottlieb said Palm Berries has spent significant time building operational systems to support expansion while maintaining consistency across locations, particularly as the company continues to scale its footprint.

“It’s really about operational efficiency and making sure the customer experience stays the same,” Gottlieb said.

The co-founder added that Palm Berries has focused heavily on streamlining supply chain logistics, store operations, and service times to support growth without sacrificing quality.

“We’ve built systems that allow us to move quickly while still keeping quality high,” Gottlieb said.

According to Gottlieb, maintaining consistency across multiple locations has become one of the company’s biggest operational priorities as Palm Berries grows into additional communities.

“We want somebody walking into any Palm Berries location to have the same experience every time,” Gottlieb said.

Gottlieb also noted that Palm Berries has focused heavily on customer retention as the company grows, particularly through consistency, convenience, and repeat business.

“The goal is to create something that becomes part of people’s daily routine,” Gottlieb said.

Palm Berries is known for its acai bowls, smoothies, and fruit-forward menu, centered on customizable toppings and fresh ingredients.

Further details regarding future Palm Berries locations are expected to be announced at a later date.
