A new location of Beatrix, a coffeehouse and restaurant, is coming to 155 North Wacker in the Loop in spring 2022, according to an announcement from parent company Lettuce Entertain You Restaurants.

“We are thrilled to bring Beatrix to Chicago’s Loop neighborhood and business community,” Marc Jacobs, executive partner and divisional president, said in a statement. “Beatrix is your go-to meeting spot – it’s the place to grab a cup of coffee and your favorite pastry, have a lunch meeting, or enjoy cocktails with co-workers.”

Beatrix is a “healthful comfort food” concept serving breakfast, lunch and happy hour, plus weekend brunch. Its menu offers a blend of international flavors with modern American influence, like shakshouka for breakfast, a wild mushroom teriyaki bowl for lunch, a lamb-and-quinoa meatball appetizer and blackened halibut tacos for dinner. Vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options abound.

The Loop location of Beatrix will have indoor and outdoor seating, a coffee and pastry counter, a bar and a private dining space. It will open in the same building as a location of its sister concept Beatrix Market, where customers can build plates from a soup, salad and hot food bar and pick up grab-and-go meals. This will be the fifth outpost for the Beatrix restaurant; its other locations are in Fulton Market, Oak Brook, River North and Streeterville.
