Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurants will likely open its newest location in Gurnee, IL by the end of 2022, reports Daily Herald. The company, which has recently begun work on several Arizona-area locations, is local, and the Village of Gurnee will mark the brand’s 15th home-state dining experience.

Plans for the new winery and restaurant, which were approved by the Village of Gurnee back in April 2021, indicate the building at 7799 Grand Avenue, near the intersection of Rollins and Grand, will cover 10,630 square-feet.

Cooper’s Hawk was founded by Tim McEnery and opened its first restaurant location in Orland, Park in 2005. Today, the company is headquartered in Downers Grove.

Not only does Cooper’s Hawk offer an upscale casual dining experience, the brand also boasts a Napa-style tasting room and an artisanal retail market. The contemporary American menu even comes paired with the brand’s award-winning wines. Shrimp and Scallop Risotto, Asian Pork Belly Tostadas, and Crispy Brussels Sprouts are just a few of the menu’s highlights.

On top of that, Cooper’s Hawk creates its own wines and offers 50+ varietals. Not only are these available for sampling in-house, you can also sign up to be part of the brand’s Wine of the Month club. How could you not be grateful?

We suggest you find Cooper’s Hawk on social media to keep up-to-date on the opening timeline for its newest location.
