CSG Hospitality — the team behind River North’s Boss Bar — announce the opening of Kitchen Karaokea bold new concept bringing late-night street food and open-air karaoke to the heart of Hubbard Street’s vibrant entertainment district.

Part takeout window, part street-side stage, Kitchen Karaoke delivers fast, flavor-forward dishes by day and crave-worthy, Korean-inspired street eats by night — all served with a side of music and the unmistakable energy of Chicago after dark.

Positioned steps from some of Chicago’s busiest nightlife, Kitchen Karaoke aims to bring the pulse of Asian street food culture to the city — complete with late-night snacks, open-air singing, and a whole lot of joy.  The takeout window will serve to-go orders only; highlights from the opening menu will include:

Street Dumplings

Lightly Fried – Choice of Vegetable or Kimchi

Spam Musubi

Eddie’s Fried Rice

Choice of Teriyaki Chicken, Beef Bulgogi or Vegetable

Grilled Cheese

D’Amato’s Sourdough Bread, American Cheese, Provolone Cheese and Vegetarian Kimchi Butter

The Korean Meltdown

While waiting for their food, guests are invited to enjoy some karaoke or grab the mic and belt out a song of their own.

The star of the concept is Executive Chef Eddie Park, who doesn’t just run the kitchen — he takes the mic. Guests will find him singing karaoke right on the sidewalk, inviting passersby and patrons alike to join in. It’s Chicago’s most delicious block party, happening nightly on Hubbard.

Born and raised in the Chicago suburbs, Eddie Park learned to cook at home, absorbing the flavors, precision, and soul of Korean cooking from his grandmother and parents. Without formal culinary training, Park carved his own path, cooking across Chicagoland restaurants — from sushi counters to front-of-house roles — developing his style through lived experience, mentorship, and the rhythm of the line.

Now leading menu development and culinary vision at Kitchen Karaoke, Park creates food that “hits hard” — bold flavors, fresh ingredients, and a street food spirit. His dishes blend the comforting flavors of his family kitchen with modern Korean technique, resulting in food that’s thoughtful yet uncomplicated, refined yet wildly craveable.

Kitchen Karaoke is located at 109 W Hubbard St, Chicago, IL 60654.
