Chicago’s La Boulangerie & Co. is expanding to a new location just south of Humboldt Park, located at 936 N California Ave.

This will be the third location for the company, with other sites in Logan and Wilson, making this the farthest south location. There is no set opening date for the new La Boulangerie. Still, considering CEO Vincent Colombet recently applied for a liquor license, guests can expect to see an opening in Spring 2022. When the restaurant does finally open, customers will be able to find all of the high-quality bread and pastries found at the other two operating locations.

On top of the various food items found at the brick-and-mortars, La Boulangerie also offers catering services so guests can enjoy their favorite bread and pastries at their next event. Within the store, expect to find a welcoming environment with a handful of chairs and tables to enjoy any purchased items, such as their breakfast sandwiches, salads, quiches, lunch sandwiches, galettes, crepes, or any of the various items from the espresso bar.

“All of our bread, pastries, galettes, and crepes are made from scratch daily with the highest quality organic flour imported straight from the motherland, France,” according to their website. “We collaborate directly with Les Grands Moulins de Paris, flour millers since 1919, to guarantee the best quality and taste of our superior quality products. Supplying Chicago with delicious bread is what we do best, and you can find us in several restaurants and retail stores around the city, as well as summer and winter Farmer’s Markets.”
