A brand new restaurant from Lettuce Entertain You Enterprises is making its way to West Loop, located at 167 N. Green St.

The new unnamed restaurant will be the latest from Chicago’s largest restaurant group, whose portfolio includes ‎Wildfire, Beatrix, Aba, Big Bowl, RPM Steak, and many more. Few details regarding the new restaurant have been revealed. What is known is the restaurant will be similar to the group’s West Coast-style spot Summer House Santa Monica. The 10,000-square-foot restaurant will serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner on its two levels and outdoor patio. Several other restaurants are planned for this building.

Lettuce Entertain You, led by CEO Kevin Brown, recently opened a new, gin-focused cocktail bar in Lincoln Park called The Gin Commission. This intimate bar opened in late June in the lower level of Quality Crab & Oyster Bah at 1962 N. Halsted Street and features a curated list of more than 50 gins worldwide. To complement the cocktails, the bar offers a menu of seafood-focused bites such as garlic butter grilled oysters, blue crab beignets, and gin-cured salmon belly.

Also found in Chicago’s Lincoln Park neighborhood is one of two Summer House Santa Monica sites. If this new restaurant from Lettuce Entertain You is anything like Summer House, customers can expect warm, laid-back West Coast vibes surrounded by beach house décor. The California-inspired menu focuses on market-driven ingredients, local and sustainable vendors, and seasonal specialties. The restaurant also features a bakery counter with a variety of freshly-baked pastries.
