The Wayman is set to be a new sports destination in the neighborhood.
The new indoor golf and dining concept is coming to the heart of Fulton Market at 1015 W Wayman Street, from a recent liquor license application. The space will have a clubhouse lounge on the second floor, and an unnamed restaurant on the top level. An opening date will be set in the near future.
“The Wayman is built as a community. It’s a place where relationships grow–where members meet friends, host clients, gather with colleagues and bring their sons or daughters to learn and enjoy the game,” says the description on their website.
Along with the clubhouse and restaurant, the team will have simulators and a putting green on the first floor, a co-working event on the second and a private event space on the fourth. A menu for the restaurant has not yet been revealed, but for drinks cocktails can be expected.
The site is on the southwest side of the N Peoria Street intersection. The building also features a parking garage, and this is in front of John’s Fresh Produce. This is a short walk from the Morgan CTA Green and Pink line station.
