Over the Road Sports Bar & Grill has changed ownership, according to a Craigslist advertisement posted three days ago by Mohsen Corporations, a family-owned, independent gas station and trucking company based in Oceanside, California.
The company, owned and operated by Mohsen and Carmen Susana Arabshahi, opened its first gas station outside of California in Wilmington, IL in 2019, according to the company’s social media. Over the Road Sports Bar & Grill, located at 24001 Lorenzo Road, shares the same address.
Arabshahi did not respond for comment at the time of publication, so it remains to be seen just what this will mean for the restaurant. An employee at Mohsen Truck Stop Wilmington told What Now Chicago Over the Road has been closed for over a year and reopening currently depends on staffing. The advertisement is calling for servers, cooks and chefs, and bartenders.
