A pizza restaurant chain known for their buffet style and kids areas will soon be coming to the Round Lake Beach suburb.
It was previously announced by Pizza Ranch in January they were building a new location at 780 E Rollins Road and would open it in June. This will be the newest of the more than 200 franchised locations across the country. Now, the opening is slated for around Aug. 1, according to managing partner Jim Oestmann.
The building will have a 2,500-square-foot fun zone with 30-to-40 arcade games, so it will be one of the larger fun zone locations in the U.S. It will be in a commercial area of Round Lake Beach, next to Arby’s and McDonald’s, and in the same area as the Meijer grocery store.
The pizzas offered have many flavors including sweet chili, Texan taco, buffalo chicken, tuscan roma, chicken bacon ranch and BLT. There is also chicken, wings, and sides or salads to choose from. One of the newer additions to Pizza Ranch restaurants is wing nights on Thursdays.
“We do have a slightly different variation in menus,” Oestmann told What Now Chicago.
Other Pizza Ranch locations coming soon include in Great Falls, Montana, Norwalk, Iowa, Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin, Thief River Falls, Minnesota and Paducah, Kentucky. There are currently eight Illinois locations, and Oestmann said the company wants to continue to grow in the midwest region.
