Chicago’s neighborhood bubble tea store Uni Uni Bubble Tea is expanding into Park West, located at 2550 N Clark St.

This will be the seventh location for the company and third in Chicago, following Chinatown and Uptown. The new location will replace Prime Cleaners in the near future, likely Spring or Summer 2022. Owner Kent Chen was recently issued building permits for this location and will soon begin the transformation next month, when their lease begins. Uni Uni Bubble Tea also has locations in Texas, Minnesota, and Wisconsin. The will become the only bubble tea shop in Park West, with the next cloest being Lincoln Park’s Happy Lemon.

When the new location opens, guests can expect a menu that focuses on fresh ingredients, quality, and taste. All locations feature the same menu with a variety of fresh fruit tea, flavored fresh milk, flavored yogurt with crystal boba, classic milk tea, flavored Yakult, special drinks, and smoothies. The company also hosts events from live music to BTS fan meetups as well as takes pride in focusing on its environmental impact, culture, creativity, and community.

“Giving back to the community has been our mission since day one,” according to their website. “As an immigrant-owned business, we will not be able to be where we are without great community support. We have donated to and sponsored multiple local non-profit organizations and look forward to giving back more in the future.”
