A new restaurant called Wheel Haus from A La Carte Entertainment is soon coming to the Wheeling suburb.
The Daily Herald recently reported that Wheel Haus will be taking the place of the Mia’s Cantina space at 373 W Dundee Road. This will be a 6,600-square-foot space, and it is described as a “neighborhood pub.” The estimated opening is by the end of the summer.
This follows the company A La Carte Entertainment opening Moretti’s in the same area in March at 365 W Dundee Road. The company is family owned, and other names they own include Finn McCool’s Irish Sports Pub, Bella Napoli Wood Fire Pizza, Chandler’s, LP’s Taphouse.
Wheel Haus will also be taking part of Arctic Spoon ice cream shop’s space, so this shop will be closing. Mia’s first closed in April, and soon after A La Carte found the open building. Moretti’s is at the building right next to the new restaurant, and it is in the plaza just off of W Dundee Road.
On their website, a new Moretti’s location is listed for Barrington as coming soon, along with Buddy’s Italian Beef & Catering in Rosemont. There are currently 13 operating Moretti’s locations.
A La Carte Entertainment was founded by Fred Hoffmann in 1970. His sons Mark and Dean Hoffmann later joined and have helped build locations all across the Chicagoland area. What Now Chicago has reached out to A La Carte Entertainment, and this article may be updated.
