Shoppers don’t have to go downtown or to the malls for new athletic wear.
It is being reported a new Alo store is coming to 1572 N Milwaukee Avenue. This will be the company’s second spot for yoga apparel in the city. Right now, the team is aiming to open the location around Q4 of this year.
The other Alo store operates at 717 N Michigan Avenue in Magnificent Mile. Along with this spot, other stores in Chicagoland are in Skokie, Naperville, Schaumburg and Oak Brook. Overall, the company has over 100 brick-and-mortars across the country.
Alo centers around everyday athletic clothing, with both men’s and women’s options. Tops, shorts, sweatpants and crew necks are a few popular options that are sold. The items are meant for both workouts and fashion, with other best sellers like suit up trousers, sneakers and sweatshirts. Skincare products are also options.
Those seeking out the new yoga studio will be able to find it at the intersection of N Milwaukee and N Damen Avenues. This is right next to Foxtrot Market and Van Leeuwen Ice Cream. The Damen CTA Blue Line station is almost right above the storefront.
As the new store continues to be built out at the former Double Door space, the company will be releasing more updates on a firm opening date.
