The Iowa-based company is installing fuel lines at a new location this year.
QuikTrip is again expanding in the suburbs, with a new location coming to 4025 Algonquin Road in Rolling Meadows. This is a major project for the area, replacing a shopping center near Route 53. As the building is under construction, an opening date has not been announced.
The company has been bringing more stations to the Prairie State this year, mostly in Chicagoland. Right now, QuikTrip operates more than 1,200 locations across the U.S., with around 20 in Illinois. What Now Chicago previously reported on new locations coming to South Holland and Minooka, and this marks their latest expansion.
Shoppers at a QuikTrip can either shop for a snack or browse their food menu, which features breakfast sandwiches, subs, pizzas and taquitos. Coffees and soft drinks are also available. The company also sells “QT Gift Cards” to spend on drinks, food, merchandise and fuel.
The station is off of Arbor Drive, near the on-ramp for Route 53. This is a short drive north of Woodfield Mall, It joins other nearby gas stations such as Mobil, Shell and Marathon.
As construction at the site progresses, the QuikTrip team will have more updates on an opening date.
