Café Zupas is expanding its Central Ohio footprint with another upcoming restaurant, this time taking over the former Torchy’s Tacos space near Dublin.
The Utah-based fast-casual restaurant is planned for 3726 W. Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, OH 43235, according to a recent report from Columbus Business First.
The new location will occupy the restaurant building previously home to Torchy’s Tacos. Torchy’s opened at the site in November 2023 before closing its final Central Ohio locations earlier this year.
Café Zupas specializes in fast-casual meals including soups, salads, sandwiches and bowls, giving the former taco restaurant space a new use as the brand continues its expansion throughout the Columbus area.
The Dublin-area restaurant will add to Café Zupas’ growing Central Ohio presence. The company already operates local restaurants, including locations at Easton Town Center and Hamilton Quarter near New Albany.
The upcoming restaurant is one of several Café Zupas locations planned or recently announced around Columbus. Columbus Business First also reported in August that the company is preparing another restaurant in the Polaris area, taking over a former Applebee’s space.
An opening date for the new Dublin-area Café Zupas has not been announced.
