As detailed in a recent final inspection permit filing, Boom Boom Tacos, Tequila & Mezcal is aiming to open its second location soon at 970 Parsons Ave. The taco and tequila concept opened its first eatery less than a year ago, near the OSU campus and with the second location, it aims to bring its taco and margarita menu to the German Village area next.

What Now Columbus confirmed with the ownership that the team is working on getting its final inspection from the city and approval from the health department, and once those hurdles are complete, the Parsons Avenue location will open. While the business doesn’t have a firm timeline for opening at the moment, they’re hoping to open the second location in about three weeks.

The Boom Boom Tacos menu features starters like guacamole and chips, cheese dip and cheese-stuffed jalapenos. Main entrees include bowls, quesadillas, burritos and tacos, the latter item offered with a variety of protein choices including grilled shrimp, fried chicken, carne asada, birria, ground beef, pork belly and more. There are other offerings like nachos and fajitas, along with a selection of margaritas, cocktails, beers, plus tequila and mezcal shots.
