Downtown Reynoldsburg is about to get a whole lot more flavorful. Slab Kitchen, a local favorite for hearty barbecue and comfort food, is setting up shop in a new standalone location at 7360 E. Main St., the former home of Tempe Taco.
After nearly three years of serving up mouthwatering meals from their spot inside Eastside Brewing Co., Slab Kitchen is leveling up. The new location marks a major milestone for the business, giving them more room to grow—and the ability to offer something new: a full bar and handcrafted cocktails.
Slab’s reputation has been built on bold, satisfying dishes like fall-off-the-bone baby back ribs, stacked burgers, saucy wings, and over-the-top sandwiches. The new space will stay true to the classics fans know and love while adding exclusive menu items only available at the Main Street restaurant.
Co-owners and brothers Bryan and Terron Nelson first launched Slab Kitchen in 2019 as a food truck, before making the leap to their first brick-and-mortar inside the Eastside Brewing taproom. Now, they’re taking the next step with a space that’s all their own—complete with a relaxed, modern atmosphere designed for casual hangouts, weekend bites, and everything in between.
An official grand opening date is expected soon, but one thing’s for sure: downtown Reynoldsburg is about to become a new destination for anyone craving serious barbecue and a laid-back vibe.
