An innovative and original culinary mind is preparing to apply his skill and vision to a new west Richardson restaurant. Documents filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation show that chef Habib Kargin will be opening a concept called Cafe De Selda at the Dal-Rich Towne Square shopping center next year.

Construction is slated to begin on the 101 South Coit Road, Suite 10 location on December 20. Work is projected to conclude on Cafe De Selda in March of 2025. The eatery will occupy 4,653 square feet of the bustling retail mecca, where it will be neighbored by Doner Kebab & Gyros, Sweet Frog, and Kalos & Muse Nail Salon and Spa.

There is not a great deal of information currently available about the vision behind Cafe De Selda. However, chef Kargin brings a wealth of experience and prestige to the project. The industry veteran honors his Turkish heritage with his refined and delicious cuisine. Kargin is part of the team behind Selda Mediterranean, a local favorite.
