According to public filings, a new Pakistani restaurant concept may be coming to Plano’s Spring Creek corridor. Darbar by Lyari could open at 2040 W. Spring Creek Pkwy., Suite 134, with construction documents indicating a contemporary restaurant fit-out spanning approximately 4,200 square feet.

What Now Dallas reached out to a representative of the project from ZIKR Foods LLC, who confirmed the restaurant is not yet ready to share details, adding that an opening is still several months away. Work on the space may include a full kitchen build-out, custom millwork, and updated HVAC and plumbing systems, suggesting a from-the-ground-up dining environment designed for a full-service experience.

The project appears connected to the Lyari brand, which has developed a loyal following in the Dallas-Fort Worth area through its commitment to authentic Pakistani and Indian halal cuisine. The Lyari concept centers on traditional recipes and quality ingredients, with a menu that typically includes dishes like karahi, biryani, BBQ platters, and freshly baked breads — all prepared in accordance with halal standards.

The Spring Creek Parkway corridor in Plano has become an increasingly competitive dining destination, drawing a diverse and growing population with strong demand for South Asian cuisine.

With a 4,200-square-foot footprint, Darbar by Lyari can be positioned as one of the larger Pakistani dining concepts in the area.
