The family-owned Japanese restaurant Jinbeh Japanese Restaurant will close its local location on August 16. The restaurant’s Lewisville location will remain open.
Jinbeh’s Frisco Restaurant Announces Permanent Closure
Located at 2693 Preston Rd Ste 1040, Frisco, Jinbeh Japanese Restaurant is shuttering. The restaurant offers an interactive hibachi experience along with sushi and specialty rolls.
From Ahi tower, a multilayered sushi tower with rice, avocado, crab meat, spicy tuna, and caviar, to Hibachi entrees and specialty rolls, all menu items are available at an affordable price.
The restaurant team announced the closure in a social media post. The Jinbeh team wrote that after years of hibachi shows and countless celebrations, the Frisco location is closing. The restaurant will host its final service on Sunday, August 16.
The team thanked the community for its support and wrote, “We are grateful for every one of you. Every anniversary, every first date, every table of kids watching the onion volcano for the very first time.”
The team also confirmed that its Lewisville location will remain open.

About the Restaurant
Founded in 1988, the restaurant chain is one of the longest-running family-owned Japanese restaurants in North Texas. It offers a premium Japanese, Hibachi, and Sushi experience. The Frisco location is situated near Stonebriar Center and a few minutes from Legacy West.
The restaurant features Hibachi shows which include skilled chefs performing dazzling tricks with flames and the famous onion volcano on a dining table. Along with that, it also includes a fresh sushi bar and a full bar.
For its unique dining experience, Jinbeh is a popular destination for birthdays, holidays, and special celebrations. The restaurant team encourages the community to visit the restaurant before its closure. “Please join us one more time before the 16th,” said the team.
With the closure of the Jinbeh Frisco location, the North Texas community is losing a gem of a place.
