Kirby Ice House, the Houston-born outdoor bar and entertainment concept known for its ice-cold drinks and laid-back atmosphere, plans to set up at 208 Coit Rd in Plano, situated in Collin County. What Now Dallas reached out to Kirby Ice House’s representatives to learn about an opening timeline but did not get a response by press time.
According to public filings, plans call for a sprawling 13,200-square-foot facility that could include a full bar with utility and beverage cooler, a kitchen, indoor and outdoor seating areas, restrooms, storage, and office space, — a setup consistent with the brand’s signature open-air experience. Construction is projected to complete by the end of June 2027.
The new location places the potential bar near a dense mix of residential neighborhoods and commercial corridors in Plano, an area that has seen consistent retail and restaurant growth in recent years.
The Plano location would join a growing footprint for the concept across the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Kirby Ice House has previously expanded beyond its Houston roots with outposts in other Texas markets, making Collin County a natural next step as the northern suburbs continue to attract new dining and entertainment options.
