A fast-casual Mediterranean chain with a growing Texas presence is heading to McKinney. According to public filings, Luna Grill Mediterranean plans to open at 160 S. Custer Road, Suite 400, with a construction completion date targeted for May 2027.
What Now Dallas reached out to Luna Grill’s representatives to inquire about the opening timeline but did not receive an answer prior to publication.
Founded in San Diego in 2004, Luna Grill has built a following around fresh, Mediterranean-inspired fare, including grilled proteins, house-made hummus, falafel, shawarma, grain bowls, and salads, all prepared without artificial ingredients or preservatives.
What Now Dallas has previously covered the brand’s DFW growth, including its continued expansion across the Metroplex. The McKinney location adds to a pipeline that has seen the brand accelerate its Texas presence alongside aggressive growth in Arizona and Southern California.
The S. Custer Road location places Luna Grill along one of McKinney’s busiest commercial corridors, anchored by Eldorado Crossing and surrounded by a dense mix of residential neighborhoods and retail. McKinney has emerged as one of the most active dining markets in North Texas, drawing a steady stream of national and regional concepts.
