A lifestyle apparel brand for men and women plans to open its second brick-and-mortar store in Dallas.
Rhoback, founded by Kevin Hubbard, Matt Loftus and Kristina Loftus, will debut at 2015 N. Henderson Ave., according to The Dallas Morning News.
Rhoback currently operates just one retail store in its home state of Virginia.
Everything is bigger in Texas, including Rhoback’s retail ambitions. Hubbard told the outlet the move was driven by the state’s “tremendous Rhoback community” with Texas being its largest market by far.
Rhoback’s collection includes performance polos, quarter-zips, hoodies, joggers, shorts, T-shirts and accessories such as hats, bags, belts and socks. One standout among Texas shoppers is the “Don’t Mess” ocean blue polo, featuring the Texas state flag on the back of the neck.
The brand also offers a “Game Day” collection featuring collegiate logos across a variety of apparel.
Rhoback partners with professional and collegiate athletes, including New York Giants quarterback Jameis Winston, golfer Wesley Bryan, Virginia quarterback Beau Pribula and Penn State quarterback Rocco Becht. The brand also has the backing of Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott.
The shop takes its name from the Rhodesian Ridgeback, a dog breed known for its history of hunting lions.
“The Ridgeback perpetually craves activity and has an unmistakable ridge that runs down its back. Wearing the Ridge inspires us to always be ready for the next adventure,” the website reads.
An official opening date has not yet been announced.
