A fun new eatertainment concept is coming to LoDo, with permits filed showing work is being done to renovate ground-level space at 1755 Blake St, making make way for Lob Denver. The business will be the second iteration of the bocce, golf, food and beverage spot that has been a hit in Toronto.

“LoDo in Denver was an easy choice for our first US location,” Lob CEO Andrew Hodd tells What Now Denver. “Lob is a unique, fun-for-all game that brings people together. The vibrancy and atmosphere here make Denver and Lob a perfect fit.”

Mile High CRE reported there are changes happening inside and outside the building, owned by Unico Properties LLC, as it gets ready for the eatery. As a place for games and competitive fun, it will be a massive 12,237 square-foot venue with plenty to do, eat and drink. It is on track to open some time in the fall.

The property is in a prime area, two blocks from Union Station and nearby many office buildings, making it a great place for work lunches or corporate events. Lob Toronto’s menu shows that the business offers a variety of hearty bites like burgers, bowls, and sandwiches and offers a nice wine, beer, and cocktail list.

“At Lob, we are on a mission to foster genuine connection and camaraderie through spirited play and a focus on community. Denver is a beautiful city, full of active, adventure-seeking young professionals and 1755 Blake St. is a great location in the heart of the action,” Michelle Hodd, Lob’s director of marketing and a co-owner in the company, told Mile High CRE of their next venture.
