A new Thai cafe is coming to the heart of Denver as Busaba takes over a space near Union Station.

The restaurant will be located at 1625 Wynkoop Street, next to the Union Station plaza. Owner Shekhar Pokhrel told WhatNow Media Group that the restaurant is expected to open this fall.

The new cafe will bring Thai food to the downtown area, with the restaurant planned for a space previously occupied by Zoe Ma Ma, the longtime Chinese restaurant that closed after more than a decade near Union Station.

The location puts Busaba in the middle of one of downtown Denver’s busiest areas, surrounded by Union Station, restaurants, hotels and other businesses.

For Pokhrel, the new restaurant will introduce his Busaba concept to Denver while giving the former Zoe Ma Ma space a new chapter.

Busaba is expected to open this fall at 1625 Wynkoop Street in Denver.
