Bagels, coffee, and vibrations, they say – that’s Call Your Mother Deli, which plans on opening a new location in Denver.
The Jew-ish deli filed permits for a 1,578-square-foot build-out at 5074 E. Hampden Avenue, according to the Naked Denver.
Call Your Mother will be taking over the space previously occupied by Starbucks at the Happy Canyon Shopping Center. The project is estimated at approximately $64,000 and will include a full commercial kitchen, a 14-seat dining area, and seating for 16 guests on the patio, said the media outlet.
Since debuting in 2018, the deli has grown under Andrew Dana and Daniela Moreira. The husband-and-wife duo opened the first shop in Park View and now has several locations in DC, Maryland, Virginia, Chicago, and Colorado.
And while Call Your Mother Deli states that they don’t take themselves too seriously, there’s one thing they’re certain about, and that’s their bagels. Their bagels are a hybrid of New York and Montreal styles.
Some of the shops are painted in vibrant pink and blue, making them rather unique. They serve bagels, stacked sandwiches, freshly baked pastries, and coffee. While there isn’t an official date as to when the brand will be opening its doors, there’s been buzz around the new location on social media.
WhatNow Media Group contacted Dana but could not be reached for comment at the time of publication.
