Weekend brunch, cider flights and live music are on the menu at Sweet Heart Winery’s new Windsor location, where the business is building a venue designed to become a gathering place for the RainDance community.

Called Sweet Heart Wine & Cider at RainDance, the location will bring a full restaurant and cider taproom together under one roof. The company describes it as the ‘living room of RainDance’, with indoor and outdoor spaces for dining, events and time with friends. The location for the new venue will be at 2191 Covered Bridge Parkway.

Food will be a major part of the new concept. Unlike a tasting room focused primarily on drinks, the Windsor venue will have a full commercial kitchen and serve weekend brunch. The menu has not yet been released, leaving the specific dishes and prices to be announced.

The drinks lineup will give cider a starring role. The location will serve as the flagship taproom for Sweet Heart Brands’ Climb Hard, Patriot Press, Sweetheart and Black Bear cider labels. Plans include cider flights, rotating taps, seasonal and experimental releases, food pairings and special events. Wine will also feature prominently, giving customers options beyond the cider selection.

There will be more to do than order a drink and settle in for a meal. Sweet Heart lists live music, wine and cider releases, and Flight Club pickup among the planned offerings. The location will also have indoor and outdoor gathering areas for private celebrations, corporate functions and community events, although booking details have yet to be announced.

The property sits at the gateway to RainDance, next to an apple orchard. Visitors will also be able to get around the wider community using golf carts and other low-speed vehicles, according to the winery’s website.

The Windsor addition will give Sweet Heart a third Northern Colorado location, joining its existing venues in Loveland and Fort Collins. Each location has its own atmosphere and offerings, with Windsor taking a more restaurant-focused approach while establishing a dedicated home for the company’s hard cider brands.

Sweet Heart lists the Windsor location as coming soon. Opening hours, reservations and details such as seating, parking and policies for children and dogs have not yet been confirmed.
