Dollar Tree is planning to open a new store at 1970 E. County Line Road, Unit A, construction documents on BuildingConnected show. The company is working to remodel an existing 7,400-square-foot retail suite within the Highlands Ranch Plaza.

The project directory lists Brian Keith Hart of Casco as architect, Brent Timmerman of Royston Group as general contractor, and Chris Wold as landlord.

Renovation efforts will add new partitions, restrooms, finishes and storefront updates, along with three new rooftop HVAC units, plumbing and electrical upgrades, and fire-safety improvements.

While no opening timeline has been confirmed, Dollar Tree is already advertising part-time Customer Service Associate positions at the new location, as shown in company job postings.

Dollar Tree traces its roots to 1986, and now operates nearly 10,000 stores across 48 states and the District of Columbia, as well as almost 300 stores across seven Canadian provinces. The chain has a solid presence in Colorado, with 114 stores in the state.
