A nationally known coffee company has sights set on a Southern Michigan town.
Brew Horizons, a franchise group of 7 Brew, will build a new coffee spot near the Meijer grocery store on U.S. 223 in the city. This would be the first 7 Brew location in Lenawee County. An opening date has not been announced as the project was just recently approved by the city planning commission.
The franchise group is rapidly expanding across the U.S., with locations in Florida, Alabama, Illinois and Michigan. The company has been focusing on Michigan as for the new coffee shops the last few years. When What Now Detroit reached out, representatives from the group were not available for comment.
“We’re a revolution that treats people like people – that makes them feel warm, loved and important, all before they take a sip of the best drink in town,” says the description on their website.
Fans of 7Brew know what to expect with the menu, which includes hot and cold brew coffees, energy drinks, fizz drinks which have sparkling water infused in flavors and topped with cream, teas, lemonades and shakes. New drinks have been crafted recently like the cereal milk matcha latte with skim milk.
While an exact address hasn’t been released, the coffee spot will be in the plaza which features a Jersey Mike’s Subs, Tropical Smoothie Cafe and Bits & Brews restaurant. At the Adrian Planning Commission meeting, members expressed concern about the traffic overflowing onto the road, to which the engineer representing Brew Horizons said there would be enough space for drivers to fit in the plaza.
As construction progresses, Brew Horizons will update the community on the opening date.
