The Mexican seafood concept is expanding their presence in Metro Detroit.
Seaviche Tacos & Bowls has signed a lease for 32500 Gratiot Avenue in Roseville, per a recent post from Keystone Commercial Real Estate which carried out the lease. The business already has a presence in both Detroit city limits and in White Lake. Owner Evan Shina does not have an opening date right now.
Locations offer savory tacos with shrimp, chicken, carne asada and steak. Burritos, bowls and quesadillas all have build-your-own options, with proteins, sauces and toppings like black beans and grilled onions to choose from. The restaurants also serve “family trays,” with half-sheet options serving four-five people or full sheets serving 10-12.
“We know just one bite of our authentic flavors will send your taste buds straight to the beaches of Mexico,” says the description on their website.
Shina opened his first Seaviche location in 2022 inside the Bread Basket Deli in downtown Detroit, 3242 E Jefferson Avenue. He is also the owner of the deli, and he created the concept to extend menu options at his business. Following the success of the restaurant, Shina debuted the second spot in White Lake in December 2024.
Seaviche Tacos is opening on the east side of Gratiot Avenue, near the intersection of 14 Mile Road. It shares the parking lot with Everything Spik’d cocktail bar, Double Shots Bar & Grill and Tailor Made Lounge. This is across the street from Macomb Mall.
