A local food truck that brings authentic Mexican flavor to metro Detroit is expanding into its first brick-and-mortar location.
Da Bomb Taco is planning a carry-out location in Ferndale at 1100 Eight Mile W. It will be located inside a Shell gas station.
The menu includes tacos on locally made corn tortillas in varieties like smoky chicken tinga, carne asada, blackened shrimp, panko avocado and classic beef. Diners can complement their tacos with sides like rice, beans, the signature elote and chips with freshly made guacamole, salsa and queso.
“From tortilla to garnish – each of our bomb tacos are layered with flavor and expertly crafted to provide immense enjoyment with every bite,” according to the website.
Da Bomb Taco comes from Lisa Session, who began operating the concept in 2021. Session told What Now Detroit the Ferndale location is expected to open this summer.
