The company is continuing Texas expansion this year.

Franchisees for Flying Biscuit Cafe recently submitted applications for their new location, coming to 1660 S Mason Road in Katy. This comes from couple Mario and Ifeoma Harper from the Houston area. Right now, an opening date has not been announced as a lease still needs to be signed.

Currently, over 40 Flying Biscuit Cafe locations operate in the U.S. These are in Texas along with Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, Florida and the Carolinas. The chain was founded in 1993 in Atlanta, and is known for breakfast, brunch and lunch options.

Locations serve brunch every day, with unique classics including chicken & waffles, their $6 biscuit, eggs and gravy, and a biscuit pot pie. For lunch, burgers and sandwiches like a reuben are available at many locations. Coffees, teas, juices and even alcoholic beverages like bloody mary’s and beer area also served.

The cafe is coming to the west side of S Mason Road, in the Mason Knolls Center plaza. This joins other concepts like Hong Kon’s Cafe, Sushi Hana and Nuestra Casa Bakery. The space was formerly Karam Grill & Bakery. What Now Houston recently covered another location planned for Magnolia in the Water Tower Plaza.

What Now Houston has reached out to the owners of the new Flying Biscuit Cafe and is awaiting comment. For more updates on future locations, visit their website.
