A new dining concept is headed to 13232 Northwest Fwy, confirmed by Christopher Chan, Director of Operations of the privately owned company. The site, previously home to a shuttered Red Lobster, will soon be revitalized by a fresh seafood-focused brand with a twist.
While the concept remains unnamed for now, Chan confirmed that the vision is closely aligned with lobsterburgerbar.com, a brand known for blending upscale lobster dishes with approachable fare like gourmet burgers and casual eats. Though full details are still under wraps, the comparison suggests Houstonians can expect a unique fusion of seafood and classic comfort food in a refreshed space once known for more traditional surf-and-turf. Chan will be overseeing the hiring process in Houston in the coming months.
With renovations likely underway and the location’s visibility from the freeway, the new concept is poised to draw attention from both former Red Lobster regulars and curious newcomers seeking something different. More details are expected to emerge as it gets closer to time for doors to open to the pubic.
“We’re aiming to open sometime this summer,” Chan told What Now Houston. The area’s community will soon have its newest hotspot come Summer 2025 provided all goes to plan.
