Supreme Dumplings, the popular Seattle-born dumpling house, is bringing its handmade soup dumplings and savory menu to Texas for the first time—starting with a brand-new location in Katy at 23119 Colonial Pkwy Suite A12.
The upcoming restaurant will be nestled in the heart of the high-traffic Katy Asian Town development. According to David Dos Santos, Vice President of Operations, the expansion made perfect sense: “Katy Asia Town is a busy area, and the opportunity presented itself to bring the brand from Seattle to Houston.” With a growing food scene and strong cultural ties, Katy offers a natural next step for Supreme Dumplings‘ footprint.
This project will transform an existing restaurant space into a 2,300-square-foot destination for freshly made dumplings and more. According to permits, the construction has an estimated cost of $350,000. The remodel will include a full buildout and brand-specific redesign, laying the groundwork for what Dos Santos hopes is only the beginning. “We plan to open many more in the area,” he added, signaling a larger strategy to introduce the brand across Greater Houston.
Construction is set to begin in June 2025, with completion expected by December 2025.
