Hey Beautiful Nail Supplies is working on reopening its Pasadena location. According to a Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation permit, the beloved nail art products retailer is currently undergoing renovations at its storefront at 615 Harris St.

The permit further details that construction kicked off at the beginning of this month and is slated to be completed in February 2027. If all goes well with permitting and the estimated $250,000 construction project, the renewed Hey Beautiful shop in Pasadena should reopen by Spring 2027.

“Remodel of existing interior retail store damaged by fire,” the permit for the 3,832-square-foot storefront reads.

What Now Houston briefly spoke with owner Ruben Flores, who confirmed the unfortunate events and the exciting new development. But Flores was unable to share further details by the time of this publication.

“Back in March we faced a fire, which caused to completely smoke the whole entire building, and to this day, it has been completely gutted,” Alejandro Flores, who serves as the company’s CEO, said in a TikTok post in mid-August.

What started the fire? Flores said a ceiling fan.

“The breaker box didn’t trip, continued feeding electricity, and sparks ignited, and that fan was at our laboratory where we manufacture our own products: our monomers, acetone, primer, dehydrator, all of that stuff caught on fire and smoked the entire building.”

Hey Beautiful Nail Supplies was established by husband-and-wife duo, Rueben and Zoraida Flores, in 2010 and has grown to two locations, including one at 8401 Westheimer Rd in Houston and the location that is set to be rebuilt at 615 Harris Ave in Pasadena. It is recognized locally as a premier provider of modern, professional nail art products.

“Led by creative director, Nazaret, Hey Beautiful is shaped by a deeply personal vision,” the Hey Beautiful website reads.

“Rooted in a blend of French influence and Mexican heritage, her approach balances romance, structure, and thoughtful detail. From the way our stores feel to how our products are presented, her focus is always the same—creating a world that extends beyond the bottle.”

Check out the newly renovated Hey Beautiful Nail Supplies when the Pasadena store reopens at 615 Harris St by Spring 2027.

“We don’t tell you we’re better — you’ll feel it in every application, and your clients will notice it too,” the Hey Beautiful website reads.
