MINISO is bringing its colorful mix of lifestyle goods, collectibles and everyday finds to North Jacksonville, with a new store planned for River City Marketplace.
The store is planned for 12884 City Center Blvd., where River City Marketplace landlord Kimco Realty lists MINISO as the tenant for Space 46, a 4,263-square-foot storefront located between Uniform-T and DTLR. The space sits in the portion of the shopping center anchored by HomeGoods and Old Navy.
The upcoming location would mark another Jacksonville-area expansion for the global retailer. According to the Jacksonville Daily Record, MINISO currently has stores at The Avenues and Orange Park Mall and is also preparing to open a location at St. Johns Town Center.
MINISO is known for its mix of affordable lifestyle products, with its U.S. stores carrying everything from plush toys, blind boxes and collectibles to beauty products, stationery, home goods, bags, accessories, electronics and snacks. The company also regularly partners with well-known brands and characters, including Sanrio, Disney, Harry Potter and The Powerpuff Girls.
The retailer describes itself as a global lifestyle brand focused on products that combine creativity, affordability and fun. According to its website, MINISO has more than 330 stores across the U.S. and more than 7,800 locations worldwide, with thousands of products spanning 10 categories.
The company has continued expanding its U.S. footprint, with its website recently highlighting the opening of its 400th U.S. store. Its stores are designed around a discovery-style shopping experience, with new products and collaborations regularly rotating through the shelves.
At River City Marketplace, MINISO will join a large lineup of national retailers and restaurants at the open-air shopping center, which is located on Jacksonville’s Northside near Jacksonville International Airport.
An exact opening date for the new MINISO has not yet been announced, but the location is listed as an upcoming addition to the shopping center.
